Security groups and user permissions are used to control in Q-Pulse to control what each user is allowed to see and do. For example, there are permissions to allow you to access a module, read a record and perform actions on documents.
- Any permission you have in Q-Pulse Windows, you will also have in Q-Pulse Web.
- Since Q-Pulse Web does not have the full functionality of Q-Pulse Windows, you may have some permissions in Q-Pulse Windows (e.g. permission to create documents or access the Assets module) which you cannot use in Q-Pulse Web.
For more information on security, please consult the Q-Pulse Windows help file or contact your Q-Pulse administrator.
You may find yourself receiving messages from Q-Pulse that you need to perform actions, such as acknowledge a document or perform work on a CA/PA stage. Messages contain an attachment which you can use to access the record in the Windows version of Q-Pulse. In addition, if the action can performed in Q-Pulse web, a link will be provided which will take you to the record (you may still need to log in to access it).
For more information on messaging, please consult the Q-Pulse Windows help file or contact your Q-Pulse administrator.
